- The golden chicken butterfly (Euphydryas Aurinia) has to accept very strong declines of populations and the distribution across Europe and especially in many federal states in Germany (see AHK Golden Scheckenfalter, OJ 2014, Anthes et al. 2003). Euphydryas Aurinia is in Appendix IIFFH guideline listed. The state of preservation of the species has been rated as "inadequate tarte" since the first assessment in the national report in 2007 in the continental region of Germany. In almost all federal states, due to the insufficient state of preservation of the kind, resettlement measures areplanned. Since E. Aurinia's stable populations could be established by resettlement projects (Kretschmer et al. 2016), resettlement measures for E. Aurinia are considered promising. In order to maintain the genetic diversity, it is crucial from a nature conservation perspective,To examine in advance which donor populations can and should be carried out from possible resettlements. According to the IUCN directive for resettlement (IUCN 1998), the rule should be noted that the most high genetic agreement on theoriginal populations in the resettlement areas. From the publication of Junker et al. (2015) it follows that funds (East) Europe is a hybridization zone of different glacial refugial areas. However, Junker et al. 2015 very few populations in Central Europeexamined, and, among other things, the southern German focus areas of the occurrence of E. Aurinia. In a first genetic examination by the ABRUBURG - Types: Biotopes: Landscape Under Project Management of Holger Loritz, 2023 populations in Baden -Wuerttemberg were able toand Bavaria are examined (Loritz et al. 2024).
