- The Bavarian State Institute for Agriculture (LFL) awards the examination of samples (plant material, soil, treatment fluid, seed) for pesticide residues. The samples to be examined are pulled as part of application controls. The contractor is expected to accept the sample, rehearsal storage, rehearsal preparation and independent examination with suitable analysis methods. The test results are to be transmitted to the LFL in the form of a test report. There are studies of approximately 460 samples on plant protection residues from plant protection application controls per year. The number of samples to be examined is specified by the annual control plan application controls. The number can fluctuate somewhat from year to year, since event controls in particular cannot be planned.
