Description:
The client operates its own communication network for VoIP telephony and data communication in the city of Duesseldorf. With around 400 Alcatel-Lucent switches distributed over around 80 locations, the IT infrastructure for around 12,000 IT ports is provided here. For the object and PrDuring process monitoring from power and water plants, video networks are operated and made accessible to the various departments of the AG. Our own fiber optic backbone includes 4 core locations, which means that the meshed, high-availability networks for the entire communication volumeof the AG are provided. The fiber optic network also provides dark fiber connections between the data centers and the AG's power plants. The AG's internal voice communication is based on the SIP standard and allows extensive manufacturer-independent integrationof end devices in the communication network.
The delivery of active and passive network components, including accessories, as well as the provision of technical support is required for the operation of this network.
