Description:
As part of this tender, the RAG Aktiengesellschaft is looking for a partner who monitors the topic of IT security holistically and recognizes and reduces and reduces risks both preventively and reactively.Based, industry-customary IT infrastructure, which is supplemented by various cloud platforms (MS Azure, GCP and SAP HEC). The central platforms within the infrastructure are Microsoft 365/Entra, a SAP platform in the SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud and a geoinformation system based on ArcGIS.In addition, there are various smaller client server applications that are operated on a VMware ESX platform in 3 own server rooms.
In addition to this central IT, the RAG operates a client server platform certified by the mining authority for the operation of the necessary process control technology (PLT).This is also based on VMware ESX and is largely separated from the general IT platform.
Up to approx. 1,000 IT users use these systems both locally and by VPN from the home office and at approx. 10 locations connected to Windows notebooks as well as Android and iOS devices.
Of theBasic operation of this infrastructure was awarded to two service providers by the RAG. A service provider is responsible for basic services in the area of servers, storage, application and client farm. Another currently operates all network services in the LAN, WAN and VPN.
