- As part of this tender, the delivery, installation and measurement acceptance of a powerful and future-proof IT cabling in a data center environment is required. The tender includes structured light wave conductor cabling with single fibers (OS2) and multimode fibers (OM4) as well as the structured copper cabling with category 6Ak components and category 7 cables. The entire cabling serves the highly available and powerful data transmission between active network components, server rooms and distribution points. As part of this tender, the transfer of 32 Gbit Fibre Channel (FC) via OM4-Multimode fibers is planned. Since the available damping budget is extremely low at this transmission speed, special requirements for the quality of the components used must be placed.
