- The subject of this tender is a support service in the form of a cloud platform for carrying out a Ki benchmarking competition that addresses the application of Foundation Models in the security area. The term foundation model (less often: basic model) describes complex neuronal Networks that have been trained on large amounts of data and are characterized by a high general public and versatility of their uses. For this purpose, the models have many (several hundred billion) parameters that are learned as part of the training. In the parameters If the implicit knowledge acquired from the data is represented and thus represents the basis (Foundation) for further applications. The overarching procedure will take up to 36 months. The continuation of the procedure will be decided in the 9th and 20th month of the competition. The continuation of the support service commissioned here also depends. The start of performance is thus linked to the start of the overarching research program and is currently planned for the IV quarter 2025. The aim of the superordinate procedure is to provide innovative research and Development services in a competitive framework for the holistic evaluation of generative foundation models in the security context.
