The State Office for Nature, Environment and Consumer Protection of North Rhine-Westphalia (LANUV) is a specialist authority within the scope of the Ministry for the Environment, Agriculture and Nature? and Consumer Protection NRW carries out the task of observing nature and landscape in NRW in accordance with Section 6 of Federal Nature Conservation. This is achieved, among other things, by:h the state-wide biotope mapping of North Rhine-Westphalia was implemented. As far as possible, this data or landscape information is brought together and managed in a large specialist process OSIRIS 2.0 and made available to the public in the form of specialist information systems (FIS).
For all specialist informationion systems (FIS) there is documentation that explains their contents, functions, etc. All FIS are bundled in a server environment; The server constellation is described in an IT operating concept (which is attached to the tender documents as an appendix).
Currently 32 are being implementedofficial FIS operated. Almost all FIS have web GIS applications as a core component. The FIS can be viewed at http://www.lanuv.nrw.de/service/infosysteme.htm under the classification term "nature" (or climate). New FIS may be added after provision by dautomatically transferred to the inventory to be maintained by the creator. The IT services advertised here must generally be offered to all FIS.
