ITS4Culture 2025 - Digitization of traffic technology with the help of C -ITs solutions
As part of the ITS4Culture funding project, far-reaching use of digital technologies and the implementation of the following main objectives is sought: prioritization of public transport and rescue vehicles, establishment of a Glosa service, discontinuation of hazard reports, determination, presentation and provision of travel times.
To achieve these goals, it is on the one hand necessary to expand the infrastructure and to understand that these C-IT messages can send, receive and process. In addition Among other things, the control units of the light signal systems (LSA) must be modernized and equipped with road-side units (RSUS) and the controls expanded and adapted. As part of the funding project, the implementation of the aforementioned goals is sought at a total of 39 light signal systems (LSA). For communication between infrastructure (LSA) and vehicle (buses on line 82), 20 vehicles are to be equipped with on board units.
It is the funding program of the Federal Ministry of Digital and Transport, Digitization of municipal transport systems, prioritization of public transport and Rescue vehicles.
