KARLA Administrative and Educational Center - Ventilation III
As part of the redesign of the district office area, the Karlsruhe district is planning, among other things, the construction of a new office building to replace the previous development at Beiertheimer Allee 2 in Karlsruhe.
In the future, this will be the case Several departments will be combined at the location and a future-oriented new development will be created for the Karlsruhe district for around 1,000 employees. The use of the new building is intended, among other things, for public service areas of the Karlsruhe district office, public conference areas, Office space, a company restaurant, seminar and
Training areas for external tenants, a public underground car park, social rooms, ancillary rooms, a daycare center and a vocational school in special ownership.
The building has an L-shaped floor plan with its greatest extent in East-west direction (underground) overall of approx. 147m and a length in north-south direction of approx. 87m. This floor plan extends underground to the 2nd basement and above ground to the 4th floor (low-rise building areas). From the 5th floor onwards the building will be on the High-rise floor plan reduced, which is located approximately in the center of the L-shaped low-rise building and has a rectangular floor plan of approximately 26.6m x 34.7m. The high-rise floor plan will last until the 23rd century.
