Description:
The spa park has been located in the spa area of the city of Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler since 1858. It was historically lined with buildings that formed the edge of the park in a southerly and easterly direction. Together with the Steigenberger properties opposite Hotels and the Kurhaussaal on the Ahr, they formed the historic spa district of the Bad Neuenahr district. The concert hall to the east was demolished in 2019 and is currently being used for multifunctional purposes (concert hall, guest house and city library). "Kurpark edge development" newly built. Completion of the new building is scheduled for the end of 2026. The spa district was severely affected by the flood event in 2021. The existing building "Kurparkterrasse/Kleine Buehne" (formerly Kurparkterrassen-Cafe-Restaurant) to the south Like the spa gardens, it was badly damaged during the flood. The spa park is centrally located in the spa area of Bad Neuenahr, on the right bank of the Ahr. The spa park area therefore has a key urban development function. The contractor should be responsible for the measures "0190 Kurpark", "0205 Brunnentechnik" and "0078 Kurparkterrasse" provide all the services necessary to ensure order, safety and documentation of the construction site.
