- GPS based survey app Beacon-based survey app Beacon infrastructure (beacon hardware and beacon management system Work package 2 serves as the central basis for the technical implementation of the field tests in the overall project by: provides complete technical collection infrastructure for usage data collection and makes it operational. It is therefore the operational link between the methodological support of the field tests described in work package 1 and the downstream ones Data processing and system architecture in work package 3 as well as legal support in work package 4. In terms of content, work package 2 includes in particular the procurement and provision of the software and hardware components required for the field test: - a survey app in two technological versions: o a GPS-based version with optional beacon support o a survey app variant that is specifically based on Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) beacons for improved recording, - the Procurement and provision of the beacon hardware via a framework contract - the introduction of a central beacon management system as a software-side control component. The aim is to coordinate these building blocks so that the different technical approaches can be tested and compared under real conditions in a technology-open and cross-provider competition.
