Description:
The Klaus Groth School is located in Parkstrasse 1 in
Neumuenster, directly on the Schwalen, integrated into the
Rencks Park with its listed trees. The old building, which was protected by listed, already received an
extension in the east. In the west the sports hall closed via a
connecting buildingto. The sports hall burned down in 2021 and the connection was also badly affected. Now a new sports hall is to be built, including
of a new connecting building to the stock on a
base area of approx. 1580m2.
The new sports hall is planned as a two -field hall, wherebythe
size 2 individual halls corresponds. These can be separated by a
curtain. Dergzen rooms are intended for the
school and separately for the clubs. The hall serves the school and club sport and is not used as an
event site.
The changing rooms, technical rooms, adjoining roomsAnd
equipment rooms enclose the approximately 10m high hall in the north,
east and west as a single -storey building. The entrance to the
sports hall including the toilet rooms is on the ground floor. In the east the
connection to the old building isMade, the
sports hall connects in the west.
The load -bearing construction of the hall area is made of
reinforced concrete, the wing for the secondary use made of reinforced concrete
and masonry. The roof structure of the hall is made of wood.
