- The Free State of Bavaria represented by the Bavarian State Institute for Agriculture (LFL) awards the implementation of the 1st screening test of the examination of potato samples to bacterial ring rot (Clavibacter Sepedonicus, CS), mucous disease (Ralstonia Solanacearum, RS) and potato viruses (PLRV, PVM) . In work step 1, 1800 potato samples with 210 tubers each have to be prepared for the detection of RNA and DNA and then disposed of. In work step 2, 900 samples are to be examined in 12 sub -samples with the QPCR for viruses (PLRV, PVM, PVY). In work step 3, 1800 samples with PCR are to be tested on CS and RS.
