The University Hospital Jena (UKJ) is the only university hospital in Thuringia. With around 7,000 employees in 31 clinics and polyclinics as well as 26 institutes and independent working groups, as well as around 2,700 students and more than 380 trainees from 78 nations, the UKJ is the largest AEmployer and training company in the Free State of Thuringia.
As a supramaximal provider, the UKJ's experts in almost all disciplines treat their patients on the basis of the latest scientific findings.
The UKJ treats more than 45,000 patients every yearen and patients inpatients and carries out over 500,000 outpatient consultations.
260 doctors and 60 dentists are enrolled annually, so that with the master's students in the fields of molecular medicine and medical photonics, a total of 2,700 students are supervised who are studying medicinen, science and in the technology-oriented industry offer the best job opportunities.
