• Description:
• The A 100 (Berlin city highway) runs in the west of Berlin as a central traffic axis and connects, among other things, the motorways A 111, A 113 and A 115. In the Rudolf-Wissell-Brücke (RWB) and Autobahndreieck (AD) Charlottenburg section, the route is one of the Areas with the highest traffic (in the RWB area approx. 173,000 vehicles/24h). The aim of the measure is to build a replacement for the Rudolf Wissell Bridge and to convert the Charlottenburg motorway triangle while maintaining traffic. For this are several construction phases with complex spatial and temporal dependencies as well as traffic routing during construction are required. The Federal Republic of Germany (Federal Highway Administration) is responsible for the construction burden. The project sponsor is the federal Autobahn GmbH, represented by DEGES. The overall measure includes in particular the dismantling and new construction of engineering structures, adjustments to ramps and connection points, renewal/adaptation of drainage systems, active and passive noise protection measures as well as the Relocation or securing of existing cable and line routes.
