Description:
The Federal Ministry for Education, Family, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMBFSFJ) intends to conduct a public tender in accordance with Section 8 Paragraphs 1 and 2 i. V. m. § 9 UVgO a legal opinion on questions relating to the law on Self-determination with regard to gender entry (SBGG) and to change other regulations. The topics are complex (a) procedural design of the SBGG procedure, including in particular the deadline regulations, (b) legal structure of the change of gender and first name for minors, (c) Legal questions with regard to the use of the possibilities of the law that do not correspond to the purpose of the law and (d) Potential analysis of the regulations Reduction of administrative costs to cover. The legal opinion is intended to prepare the BMBFSFJ's evaluation report by examining certain regulations of the SBGG with a view to the purpose of the law and any potential for further development be examined jurisprudentially. The findings of the legal report are intended to help to objectify socio-political discussions on the effects of the SBGG and to shed legal light on questions regarding its application practice. The Findings should be incorporated into the overall evaluation of the SBGG. An abstract must be attached to the legal opinion.
