• Description:
• The aim of the project is to examine and disseminate the applicable legal design of road traffic law in favor of climate and environmental protection. As part of a legal symposium, the new legal situation should be considered in such a way of which options for redistribution of street space are available to the municipalities through the new legal situation. Findings on the current interpretation and application as well as the framework conditions of the applicable more progressive road traffic law are to be gained in order to illuminate various legal aspects. It should also be considered which changes that go beyond would still be necessary. For this purpose, existing approaches and reports are to be presented, discussed together and made available to the public.

  - How can road traffic law be classified with regard to environmental and cli protection and health on an urban development that is based on the goals mentioned? How can it be legally further developed in this sense in the future?
