The Leipzig vocational development agency gGmbH is an educational institution with a focus on vocational rehabilitation. The property at Georg-Schumann-Strasse 148 in 04159 Leipzig is owned by the professional development agency and comprises a total of four buildings. The commercial-technical sector Training (GTA) has been housed in Building 3 since 1998. The premises have remained essentially unchanged since construction and now require extensive maintenance, repairs and partial modernization in order to continue to meet the requirements of a contemporary training environment to do justice. Renovation planning was started in 2017 because there was a significant need for action, particularly in the areas of fire protection and technical building equipment. In recent years, new requirements have also been added: - rising outside temperatures lead to... a necessary comprehensive room cooling/air conditioning, especially in the classrooms, - the long-term preservation of the property's value must be ensured, - the technical systems must be renewed so that they comply with the applicable legal regulations.
