The FG 1.3 specialist group of the Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Occupational Medicine (BAUA) carries out the scientific project F2593 entitled "Empowerment - Risks and Side Effects of Agile Work for Employees and Managers". As part of the project, a quantitative longitudinal study are carried out with employees and managers who enable a deeper understanding of empowerment in organizations with regard to safety and health.
In organizations, empowerment is understood as a process in which managers have a higher level of their employees Grant independence, share responsibility and influence on decisions with your employees or transfer them entirely to them.
For this, the participants should be approx. be interviewed a month. In separate surveys, data from employees (i.e. dependent employees without a formal management position) and managers (i.e. dependent employees with a formal management position) are to be collected.
