Description:
The aim of the overall project at the Charlottenburg location (Am Spreebord 5, 10589 Berlin) is to ensure the security of heat supply in the connected district heating network by replacing existing gas turbines with reliable alternatives and to phase out coal by installing additional onesto enable heat capacities. As part of the overall project, the contracting authority is planning several sub-projects, including the construction of new generation and infrastructure facilities as well as the demolition and renovation of existing facilities.
The total required future thermal injection capacitycapacity is approximately 550 MW, divided into a gas-fired portion and a power-to-heat portion.
The present subproject/lot 2 includes the construction of a power-to-heat system of 200 MWth (4x50 MWth) as well as a district heating system. Pumping station with a feed-in capacity of
550 MWth within theexisting and listed machine hall.

The services of lot 2 include, among other things, the planning, delivery, assembly and commissioning of:
4 x electric hot water generators (HWE) (4 x 50MWth) including the associated primary circuits and controls.
Heatovercarrier for transferring the 200MWth of the electric HWE to the district heating circuit.
Heat exchanger for transferring the 320MWth of the GT system to the district heating circuit.
1 x heating center (secondary circuit / district heating circuit) including the district heating pumps.
