• TEN Thüringer Energienetze GmbH & Co. KG, as the client and wholly owned subsidiary of TEAG Thüringer Energie AG, with responsibility for network expansion and network operation, operates the local electricity and energy supply networks Natural gas and the connection of decentralized generation systems. The electricity and natural gas network covers around 40,000 kilometers long and supplies more than 1.1 million people and the local economy in Thuringia, parts of Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt with energy. The increase in decentralized feed-ins and flexible loads creates new challenges for network management in low-voltage networks. These include, among other things, that - performance flows are more volatile and poorer become predictable - reversal of the direction of the power flow can result in feedback to higher voltage levels - bottleneck situations arise at all voltage levels due to an increase in the output of consumers and decentralized feeders - declining flexibility potential in the high-voltage level must be replaced by increasing flexibility potential in the lower voltage levels and - voltage maintenance problems increasingly occur in medium and low-voltage networks can.
