Description:
The award procedure includes two lots: the magazine operation (lot 1) in the Friedrichshagen and Westhafen storage warehouses and the media transport (lot 2) between all four locations of the Berlin State Library (SBB). In the warehouse operation, routine tasks, back and order work are involved Processing orders for loans, internal purposes, interlibrary loans and scanning orders as well as posting returns and new arrivals. In addition, there are special business operations and the operation of the central delivery, in Friedrichshagen also with a media conveyor system. Quality standards These include an error rate of less than 1%, the return of holdings within 48 hours and the timely processing of electronic and interlibrary loan orders. Services are to be provided Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The staff must be reliable and resilient and work carefully, have at least a B2 level of German, have basic IT knowledge and be trained in using library filing systems. The necessary workplace equipment such as PCs, trolleys or packaging materials will be provided by the client the contractor must provide work clothing, safety shoes and mobile phones.
