• Description:
• The Schwaben district clinics (“district clinics”) are a group of eight hospitals with a total of 1,266 beds. More than around 4,250 employees care for over 60,000 patients every year and provide a high-quality and reliable service Health care safe. The clinics thus form the basis for comprehensive care for the population in the Swabian administrative region and also represent a not insignificant economic factor. Currently, the district clinics SAP ECC is an enterprise resource planning (ERP) software in use, for which service will soon no longer be available, so it needs to be replaced. The aim of the district clinics is therefore to replace the previous solution and implement it a new ERP software to map the business processes in the areas of finance, controlling including planning and reporting, purchasing as well as materials management and invoicing in a future-proof solution. The current ERP solution consists of one Heterogeneous operating environment based on individual applications, databases and platforms. Each of these building blocks fulfills specific tasks, but the lack of integration leads to a large number of interfaces that are difficult to maintain and coordinate have to be. Against this background, the introduction of future-oriented ERP software is intended to improve the quality of business processes in order to consolidate the IT architecture and the complexity of the fragmented system landscape by bringing together individual applications, databases and processes in a unified and networked environment. The conception and technical implementation of the ERP software must take place by September 30, 2027 at the latest.
