Description:
The project includes the new construction of the Roesrath transport station (MOF 3). The plan is to dismantle the existing facilities and build two new platforms, including a passenger underpass with stairs, new access routes and a platform roof. In addition, cable and drainage work is carried out Construction of weather protection houses, lighting, signage systems and equipment.
The following measures are part of this project:
− Complete renovation of the two outer platforms using conventional construction with a usable length of 170 m, a nominal platform height of 76 cm above SE and a usable one Standard platform width of ≥ 2.75 m
− Platform 1 will be offset by approx. 80 m to the south
− The existing pedestrian underpass will be dismantled and replaced by a new building (including a staircase with a staircase enclosure) at the same location

− Platform 1 will have 3 weather shelters and platform 2 will have 2 weather shelters in addition to the roof
