The hydraulic safety system at two locations on the factory premises since 2014 largely prevents further discharge of pollutants from the property. Those that have already flowed out However, pollutants (mainly the LCKW single substance VC) are not covered. There is a shift from LHKW/VC to the north and northeast to the fountains in the south gallery of the WW Stolpe. With the help of a hydraulic safety device, the crossing of VC into the fountains of the south gallery of the WW Stolpe can be prevented. For this purpose, a groundwater purification plant must be built east of the Havel to clean and drain the extracted contaminated groundwater. The renovation is planned for 5 years.
