• Maintenance, inspection, repair and troubleshooting of the diesel engines of the combined heat and power plants in the Reichstag building and in the Paul Löbe House of the German Bundestag The administration of the German Bundestag operates in the Paul-Löbe-Haus (PLH) and in Reichstag building (RTG) each has a combined heat and power plant (CHP). Each CHP consists of four MAN diesel engines modified to run on rapeseed methyl ester (RME) with directly coupled generators with an electrical output of up to 400 kW. The Heat is extracted via exhaust gas heat exchangers and heat exchangers in the engine and charge air cooling systems. The subject of the tendered service is the maintenance of the diesel engines including all associated components of the CHP in the PLH and RTG according to the inventory list (Appendix 2 to the service description [LB]) and work card (Appendix 3 to the LB). When replacing an engine block, the contractor must adapt the inventory list (Appendix 2 to the LB) accordingly. As part of the first maintenance run The contractor supplements the inventory list (Appendix 2 to the LB) with all missing essential components and updates them. At the same time, the work card (Appendix 3 to the LB) must be checked for completeness and clarity and, if necessary, corrected complete.
