- The subject of the order includes the production and delivery of 9 fuel cell articulated buses.
The buses must have the following basic equipment features:
- low-floor city bus
- vehicle length: articulated bus approx. 18m
- fully electric drive
- hydrogen storage with a beoperating pressure of 350 bar
- fuel cell system
- The drive energy is provided entirely by recuperation or via the fuel cell. There is no possibility of supplying the vehicles with electricity over a longer period of time at the AG's depot.
- Minimum range 350 km
- Battery charging via Combo 2 CCS plug
- 3 doors
- Video surveillance
- Air conditioning for driver and passenger compartment

The buses must be delivered and accepted ready for operation by July 31, 2025 at the latest (if the order is awarded by March 31, 2024) .
