Hydra Bio has four types of ions (XE, O, AR and N), which can be used independently of one another to enable local, large-volume material removal and precise top-down and cross-sectional milling milling. Plasma sources can deliver higher jet currents than liquid metal sources (LMIs; "Liquid Metal Ion Source"), which mainly with Gallium ions are operated.
