- Merseburg University is putting the procurement of network switches out to tender. This includes the following IT technology to be procured: - Peripheral switches - Network - Modules - Hardware support - Software support The aim is to procure replacements for existing switches. For the Expansion of bandwidths in the KooP project. - Hybrid cloud requires an expansion and replacement of the existing technology. The IT technology to be procured and the associated services can be found in point 4 Service. There are questions about the tender sent to the client exclusively electronically via the procurement platform used and will be answered via the procurement platform. The technical specifications explained below describe the minimum requirements that are offered Products must have. Unless stated otherwise, all performance characteristics described are exclusion criteria. The switches to be procured are needed in order to be able to serve the ever-increasing bandwidth requirements. This particularly concerns the Increasing the performance of the connection to the new core and the possibility of connecting powerful end devices, e.g. B. Access points of the latest generation, i.e. Wifi 7. This means that the existing network architecture has the full range of functions and To maintain compatibility, support for the PVLAN feature, which is used campus-wide, must be ensured.
