  • Procurement takes place within the framework of the Hospital Future Act (KHZG), i.e. the purchase of a NAC solution and the implementation service to control cable-based (LAN)/wireless (WLAN) access to the MHH network. Furthermore, support for the NAC solution is also advertised.
    MHH -Introduction of Network Access Control (NAC)
    The aim of this award procedure is the procurement, i.e. the purchase of a NAC solution from the manufacturer HPE Aruba and the implementation service to control cable-based (LAN)/wireless (WLAN) access to the MHH network.
    Factual and order-related greende regarding Aruba: The entire network infrastructure in the MHH campus area is operated with HPE Aruba components. Where components from other manufacturers are still in use, they will be replaced by Aruba components after EOS/EOL. Apart from performance, there are advantages in monitoring, etcnd administration of network components. These advantages of the manufacturer-standard network infrastructure continue with the introduction of Network Access Control. Here are some examples of features that would otherwise not be available:
    SwitchTo easily integrate the NAC system, it must be possible to dynamically distribute user roles to Aruba switches and Aruba access points via the NAC system. If a change is made within a role on the NAC system, it must be automatically rolled out to all network components...
