Description:
The contribution service of ARD, ZDF, Deutschlandradio (hereinafter referred to as "contribution service" or "client" or "AG") intends to replace the existing Db2-z/OS platform with a modern, open target platform based on PostgreSQL in on-premises operation. The subject is technical Migration of existing database and application components without technical functional changes. The aim is for all affected applications to run completely, efficiently and securely on PostgreSQL.
The eight work packages that are part of the overall project are described below must be provided by the contractor (contractor). The tasks must be carried out in close cooperation and coordination with the contribution service project team.
1. Migrating Db2 database to PostgreSQL
- Analysis of the database and development of a migration plan with the aim of the Db2 database to be transferred to PostgreSQL.
The management of schema changes under PostgreSQL should be supported by a Liquibase model. Stored procedures are not Part of the migration, as it is already being replaced.
- Migration of data from Db2 database to PostgreSQL.
-Proof of the correctness of the migration through appropriate test procedures.
