The drinking and sewage association (TAV) Liebenwalde is responsible for the disposal of the property drainage systems in its association as part of its sovereign task. The association area of the drinking and sewage association Liebenwalde comprises 310 km2.

Mobile disposal from drainless collecting pits and small sewage treatment plants in the association area of drinking and Wastewater association Liebenwalde and transport to the Liebenwalde sewage treatment plant and to the main pumping station Nassenheide (for the Freihagen district). In it Districts Freiehagen and the Cross break of the city of Liebenwalde does not exist any public wastewater duct system. In the districts of Hammer, Liebenthal, Liebenwalde and Neuholland of the City of Liebenwalde and the districts of Gross Schoenebeck, Scorfheide, the municipality of Schorfheide exist central Wastewater channel systems. Mobile disposal only plays a role for the land in the outdoor area and in recreation areas. The district of Boehmerheide of the municipality of Schorfheide is significantly shaped by mobile disposal.
