Description:
In the Flybots project, research infrastructure for the further development of drones is being set up at the Braunschweig site. In addition to a test stand for drone drive trains, an EMC chamber and a cage for testing free-flying drones, an independent drone detection system is to be developed
Vehicle-integrated drone detection system This vehicle-integrated drone detection system is designed to simultaneously detect, classify and track the trajectory of several typical drones within an azimuth of at least 120 from a distance of 5 km. The tracking data whovisualized on a map and passed on to external systems, which can then initiate anti-drone measures based on this. The sensors offered should be able to detect and track completely passive drones without data link emissions, under different weather conditions.and environmental conditions. Therefore, a radar-based solution is favoured, camera systems and data link-based methods should only be used as a supportto be able to become flat. It is independent of external power supplies or other infrastructure for the duration of a test day. A turnkey solution consisting of a detector, vehicle, operating station for the sensor and auxiliary systems such as a pan-tilt unit for the vehicle is sought...
