Description:
The model project is divided into two phases.
In phase I, practical experiences of state and regional planning as well as inter-municipal cooperation with regard to the control of residential land development and the mobilization of internal development potential as well as the regional coordination and coordination of municipal building land development and housing policy are recorded and examined in a preliminary study. On this basis of knowledge, it is then important to derive recommendations and approaches for the practice of spatial planning and inter -municipal cooperation. As part of Phase I, a competition for interested model regions and the selection of suitable model regions is planned.
In phase II, practical paths are to be shown with the help of model regions, how effective requirements for state and regional planning can look like needs-based housing construction and how a regionally coordinated, needs-based housing in space-compatible locations can be made possible by inter-municipal cooperation.
