The middle school in Karlsfeld was built in 1971. The building was not further renovated inside the interior, except for the individual measures listed and isolated. 2009 to 2011: Energetic renovation of the building envelope as part of the economic stimulus package II (exchange of windows and sun protection,WDVS facade, roof renovation, connection of the building to the municipal district heating network, as well as the partial implementation of a fire protection concept) 2013 to 2014: Construction of an output kitchen integrated on the ground floor and a dining room as an extension in the courtyard.
