• Modernization of the pier system of the city of Nordenham: object planning of engineering structures The city of Nordenham is planning a comprehensive modernization of its pier facility in Nordenham-Blexen. The pier facility is an important part of the specialized seaport Nordenham. The length of the existing pier is around 102 m, the adjoining jetty is around another 33 m. The pier was built in 1969. It has now been in operation for over 50 years and, due to the identified significant needs Damage and thus severe impairment of the load-bearing capacity, a fundamental and performance-oriented modernization.
