Description:
The state capital Magdeburg, represented by the own company of municipal building management (KGM), is planning a fundamental modernization of the Magdeburg town hall. The Stadthallenens ensemble is classified as a monument by the State Office for Monument Preservation. Basic objectives of modernization are: . upgrading the listed existing building with regard to its residence and usage qualities . guaranteeing the building regulations law requirements for security, especially with regard to fire protection .-friendly reconstruction of the building cubature in accordance with the Original design idea . Optimization of the management options of the town hall, in particular through: - Improving the delivery situation for the stage of the Great Hall - Improvement of visibility on the stage in the large hall - renewal of building technology and the event technology - Expansion of the offer of flexibly usable event and conference rooms - renewal of the kitchen areas - energetic upgrading of the building envelope taking into account the requirements of monument protection . Development of a lighting concept for improving the external effect Urban space Magdeburg . Improvement of external qualities (dismantling of various existing buildings) .
