• Description:
• The subject of the contract is the provision of monitoring and evaluation services for federal games funding. In this context, the order includes monitoring of target achievement, effectiveness and profitability in the sense of Monitoring of success in accordance with Section 7 Paragraph 2 of the Federal Budget Code (BHO) and the associated administrative regulations (VV) and the provision of subsequent services for 2024-2029 (basic term). The contract can optionally be extended until 2031. Monitoring during the basic term and in the optional extension period Goal: Annual reports presenting the central developments, successes and challenges of the games industry in Germany and, if necessary, new funding impulses derived from them Optimization suggestions for ongoing funding. This includes the evaluation of online surveys, academic studies, association and secondary data as well as the conduct of interviews and focus group discussions. Accompanying evaluation during the Basic term goal: Submission of an interim report including recommendations for action by October 1, 2028 at the latest, so that these can flow into the further development of the funding guidelines, which expire in 2029. Submit one by July 31, 2029 at the latest Final report for the accompanying evaluation. Final evaluation in the optional extension period Goal: Submission of a final report for the funding period 2024-2031 including recommendations for action by July 31, 2031 at the latest.
