• Description:
• The Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research (MPI) is located between the university of applied sciences campus and the Johannes Gutenberg University campus in the Mainz-Bretzenheim district. The MPI facility was built in four construction phases. The first construction phase was completed in 1988. The second phase of construction followed as an extension of the main building in 1990, and the third phase of expansion completed the building complex in 1998. In 2006, component 4 with an office wing and NMR area was moved into. The areas to be renovated in component 3 there is a total of 2,250 m² NF 1-6; Of this, around 1,760 m² are in the laboratory area (basement/ ground floor/ 1st + 2nd floor) and around 490 m² NF 1-6 are in the lecture hall building (ground floor + 1st floor + gallery).
