General Introduction to State Estimation for power networks Measurement inaccuracies and measurement errors are detected and corrected based on the electrical parameters, the power network topology, and the quality of the various measured values. The result is a complete, consistent set of network state variables (P, Q, U, phiU, I, phiI), which serves as the basis for further calculations for network security calculations. State estimation uses the actual process data and the actual base network model. We would like to add this capability to our MSHIP Platform as functional software service.
