Description:
The “Sportpark Kreideberg” is a large sports and cultural facility in Lüneburg and is located on “Wienebütteler Weg” in 21339 Lüneburg. The facility offers space for a wide range of cultural and sports activities and is regional Meaning. The building complex on the site has been built over the years and has been constantly expanded to this day. The original building of the facility is the two western halls (Halls A + B) and the one in between Access wing, in the following middle wing called. These parts of the building were built in 1977/78. The middle wing was expanded in 1979. In later years, among other things, a third hall (Hall C) and the middle wing were added expanded, an exercise pool was built and various side rooms added. The last structural measure for now took place in 2018 with the addition of additional sanitary and changing areas to Hall A. The existing structural substance can generally be assessed as solid and very well maintained, but corresponds In terms of construction, building physics and technology, they only largely correspond to the respective building standards specific to the construction period. Since Hall A in particular is used intensively and regularly for a wide range of regional cultural and sports offerings, it was decided to use it primarily to be renovated for energy efficiency together with the central wing.
