Description: FMG intends to renovate the shed roof glazing, including the RWA / ventilation elements contained therein, of the aircraft maintenance building Hangar 1 at Munich Airport, Maintenance Allee. According to the budget, the renovation measure is to be carried out in 2 construction phases in 2021 and 2022.
The hall roof has a rectangular floor plan and approx. 25 830 m2, of which the flat roofs, at a height of approx. 30 m over the terrain, account for approx. 19 290 m2. The roof area is divided in the middle by a fire wall and structured by 3 light strips approx. 296 m long running in an east-west direction. In addition to the light strips, 40 RWA flaps are arranged along the northern edge of the roof.
The scope of the renovation includes the 3 light strips north, center and south.
