- Description:
- Since 1995, the Federal Institute of Hydrology has been carrying out monitoring to record macrozoobenthos (MZB) in the Eider, Elbe, Weser, Jadebusen and Ems estuaries at three to six locations (depending on the estuary). The aim is to record the spatial and Temporal variability of the macrozoobenthos on a large and long-term scale. The stations examined in all studies are located in the different salinity zones of the tidal river sections. The results serve as a basis for the BfG Basis for a better understanding of the system and for creating impact forecasts within the framework of various processes and projects, such as: B. GÜBAK, HABAK, UVU, preservation of evidence and for the creation of system studies. Based on the data collected Recommendations for expansion, conversion and maintenance measures can be made to the waterways and shipping authorities (WSÄ). The study results also support the federal-state measurement program (BLMP) and flow into it Marine Environment Database (MUDAB). In the estuaries of Eider, Elbe, Weser, Ems and in the Jade Bay, the macrozoobenthos is in autumn 2026 (September to October) with van Veen grippers (a total of 26 stations, 6 parallel samples per station, i.e. 156 samples) and dredges (1x per station, i.e. 26 dredge trains) to be sampled, taxonomically identified and counted. After the taxonomic determination by the contractor (AN), the gripper samples are sent to the for further processing (DNA metabarcoding). Client (AG) sent. The services are essentially divided into three work packages: WP1: Sampling WP2: Sample processing WP3: Communication, reporting and data transfer. The detailed description of the services to be provided please refer to the tender documents. Architectural, construction, engineering and inspection services (CPV code: 71000000)
