- Description:
- The cities of Bad Oeynhausen and Loehne intend the natural and flood-proof design of the lower werre of river kilometers (river-KM) 4.1 to 9.0 in the current influence and back congestion area of the Sielwehr. The overall project is divided into two implementation steps of River-KM 4.4to 5.7 (US1) and river km 5.8 to 9.0 (US2). While for the US1 there is an official approval for the implementation in the form of a planning approval decision, the US2 is still in the planning phase.
The project to be excited includes the construction work for the implementation step1 in the water section of river km 4.4 to 5.7. The main project goals in the improvement of the ecological state of the Werre by eliminating the Sielwehr as a obstacle to hiking for fish and other animals living in the water, by upgrading the water structure for creationFrom a habitat for flow -loving animal species as well as in ensuring flood protection. The main measures are listed below:
water conversion above Kaarbach mouth to Sielwehr (approx. Km 4.4 to 4.75)
- dismantling of the existing Sielwehr
- Construction of aAbout 360 m long sole slide according to hydraulic and ecological criteria for the production of the biological continuity of the water including a construction period of a construction period bypass on the left bank
- permanent lowering of the water mirror by 80 cm
