- Cisco Infoblox Akamai HashiCorp The Bavarian State Office for Taxes (BayLfSt) with its Information and Communication (IuK) department acts as an IT service provider for all Bavarian tax offices as well as large parts of the Bavarian judiciary. This is what it operates for BayLfSt has a data center at several locations in the Nuremberg area and the greater Munich area. As part of several projects and plans, the existing network infrastructure is being completely or partially renewed. This particularly applies to new construction Data center in the co-location model in Nuremberg, the modernization of up to 200 locations of the Bavarian tax offices as well as lifecycle management in the operation of the nationwide ELSTER service. Especially for the new one to be built Data center network (“NEPTUN-RZ” project) requires extensive investments in hardware and software in 2026 and 2027. In a procurement procedure, the conditions should be created to provide the required services To be able to access framework agreements in four lots. The subject of the award procedure are the components and services required for the aforementioned areas.
