Description:
As part of the water expansion of the ditch systems on the Frankenthaler Terrasse in 2023 to 2024, the Isenach-Eckbach water purpose association intends to restore the lost outfall for the Neugraben and to hydraulically upgrade the adjoining ditch system. This means that dThe waterlogging of agricultural areas due to standing water in the fields and the resulting rise in groundwater will be minimized in the future.
The project "Connecting the Neugraben to the Isenach with ditch modeling in Eppstein-West" (short: Neugrabenspange Eppstein-West = NEW) consists of the following construction phases:
- Trench modeling without moss ditch (BA 1)
- Connecting clasp and moss ditch (BA 2)
- Pumping station, diversion section and sheet pile wall (BA 3)
- Irrigation pipes, connecting clasp (BA 4)
The measures "Trench modeling" advertised here without moss ditch"(BA 1) include the following parts of the overall measure
- Hydraulic upgrading of Neugraben West (600 m), Renngraben (950 m), Mittelgraben (690 m), Caterpillar Trench (450 m) and Erbsensaatgraben (700 m) over a distance of around 3 .39 km
- New construction of a total of eight culvert structures in the shape of a rectangleprofilen aus Stahlbetonfertigteilen
