Description:
The science city of Darmstadt intends to replace the main building, which was built in the 1970s, and its extension with a new building, as the two buildings can no longer cover the needs of the current educational concepts. The space required for the new building wThere is a program area of approx. 3,000 m2. The existing specialist classroom wing was built in the 2000s and will remain in place to support the school in the area of natural sciences. As before, the existing building is built via the two-story, glazed connectiongsteil connected to
the future new building.
Building automation
Three ISP cabinets are being built in the basement of the new building, which are connected via an on-site fiber optic network and communicate via BACnet/IP. The visualization is operated via a control panel for each ISP. For the caretaker's room on the ground floor of the NeAnother control panel is provided in the building. Four heating circuits, central ventilation, fire dampers, volume flow controllers and the auditorium/vestibule system (switching between heating and cooling mode) are controlled.
