• Due to the increasing number of students, there is an acute need for space at the Astrid Lindgren School (ALS). There are currently around 200 students being taught at the ALS, in a building that was originally designed for 120 students. After one current forecast the need increases to 250. As the number of students increases, so does the need for space, meaning that the school's existing premises are far from sufficient to meet future needs. Beyond the stats In their daily work, the management and staff of the school feel the acute lack of space, which is increasingly standing in the way of their work and the support they offer. This additional need is to be met in the future by a replacement building on the school's own property Schwalbenweg 63 in 87439 Kempten can be covered. The government of Swabia approved a space program for a new school building for 250 students. Synergies between curative education are planned for targeted use of space Day care and school for people with physical disabilities. There is also an opportunity to improve the access situation for the pick-up and delivery service as part of the new building and to adapt the sports and break areas to meet increasing demand. A swimming pool is also being built. The client has decided to continue pursuing variant 1 of the feasibility study. The costs of the project (KG 300+400) are currently being calculated based on a feasibility study...
