Description:
The central building management of the city of Krefeld is building an equipment house for the volunteer fire department and the rescue service in Krefeld-Fischeln for Department 37 - Fire Department and Civil Defense. The new building consists of three building blocks and forms a U-shaped structure in its cubature.1. Vehicle hall FFW with 5 parking spaces, 1 washing hall and a 2-story technical and storage area 2. Vehicle hall RW with 4 parking spaces, storage and technical areas 3. Social wing / functional wing with changing and sanitary areas, office, training, seminar areas, etc. for FFW and RW.The alarm courtyard is surrounded in the north and south by the opposite vehicle halls of the FFW and the RW, and in the east by the 2-story functional wing. A central warehouse on the ground floor spatially separates the functional areas of the FFW and the RW. In the nThe northern part of the ground floor contains the changing areas, a workshop and other rooms assigned to the FFW. The changing areas for the emergency services and the associated ancillary rooms are located in the southern part of the building. On the 1st floor there are the areaschen for training and seminar, office space, lounge areas with kitchens, storage areas, sanitary areas and relaxation rooms for the rescue service.
