The FriedrichsausteGe is covered by the Danube at river kilometers 2583.6. It is about half in the area of the cities of Ulm and Neu-Ulm as well as the federal states of Baden-Wuerttemberg and Bavaria. The jetty is for foot and bicycle traffic between the Neu-Ulm district of Offenhausen andThe Ulm Park "Friedrichsau" Park system of great importance.
The freely tensioned clamping concrete bridge built in 1976 (three -field trough bridge, span approx. 87.4 m) is in a poor structural condition and has stability -relevant damage that does not economically not with reasonable effortare to be remedied.
